Flash means pre-drawn tattoos that you can choose from a book or the wall. It is ready to tattoo as-is and is great for a first piece if you don’t have a custom idea in mind. Custom means you bring or email references and a few sentences about your idea ahead of your appointment and your artist designs something specific for you.
Book or walk-in?

Walk-ins are welcome when someone is free- call 503-719-6780 to check first that we have someone available. We usually do!
For a specific artist or a custom piece, email the artist or use their booking link from the artist page, or start with the shop at [email protected]. If you’re unsure which artist to choose, we can help you decide once we understand your idea. If you call the shop, we may ask you to email your references so we can recommend the best artist for your project based on the style you’re exploring.
A good rule of thumb for choosing an artist is to find someone whose work you like and let them bring your idea to life.

Appointments usually require a $100 minimum deposit (non-refundable; applies to your tattoo). Please cancel at least 48 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment or your deposit will be forfeited.

We recommend getting a good nights sleep, drinking plenty of water and having a big meal before your appointment. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks to your appointment to keep your blood sugar and strength up. We will show you your design and discuss size and placement. Please tell your artist how you’re feeling and we will work to make you as comfortable as possible while you receive your new tattoo. If you have any questions, do let us know.
We will walk you through healing; full steps are on our aftercare page. Please call the shop if you’re unsure during healing.
• We are cash only (ATM on site).
• Shop minimum: $100-$200 depending on the artist.
• Rough Guide: palm sized pieces are often around $350-400; full hand around $450-500; larger work is priced by the hour. Your artist can estimate when you book.
